The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer non-competitive 5K run/walk is coming to the RFK Campus for the first time, raising awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer.

Hot Cider Hustle 5K

Festival Grounds at RFK

5k, 10k and 15k start: 9:00am

The Hot Cider Hustle 5K non-competitive walk/run returns to the RFK Festival Grounds, where runners will receive a sweatshirt and a steaming mug of hot cider after completing the course.


Greater Washington National College Fair

Sunday, November 5

Walter E. Washington Convention Center

12:30pm – 4:00pm

The National Association for College Admission Counseling holds this college fair for high school students to meet with admission counselors one-on-one.


Paint Drop-Off Recycling Event

Saturday, November 18

DC Armory

9:00am - 1:00pm

All households and businesses located in the District may drop off unneeded paint, stain, or varnish for recycling.


Feast of Sharing

Wednesday, November 22

Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Doors open at 9:30am

Turkey dinner will be served from 11:30am until 1:00pm

Safeway with Events DC sponsors this annual dinner for unemployed District of Columbia residents.
